The Quebec government recognizes the crucial role of composting in diverting organic and food waste from landfill or incineration. Above all, it recognizes the effectiveness of enclosed thermophilic equipment like that manufactured by Brome Compost. Our composting systems are currently in use throughout North America. They turn your waste into black gold, while contributing to our collective efforts to combat climate change.
Recyc-Québec launched its Household and Community Composting Assistance Program in May 2023. Section 3 specifically targets composting of source-separated organic residues in closed thermophilic equipment. You have until October 31, 2024 to submit an application and receive non-refundable subsidy of up to $100,000 for the acquisition of a high-performance Brome composting system, manufactured right here in Quebec.

- Quebec municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants that are not part of the metropolitan communities of Quebec City or Montreal
- Aboriginal communities in Quebec
- Unorganized territories in Quebec
